For many years, gas phenol has been used in incubation facilities and chicken farms for disinfection purposes. In spite of disadvantages that the gas bears, it`s regarded as one of the best disinfectant substance in the poultries` nest, because it`s cheap in addition to strong disinfection feature. Gas phenol is synthesized either through combination of formalin with potassium permanganate or liquid evaporation or powder. Typically 35 cc phenol and 5.17 g potassium permanganate per m3 composition is used for disinfecting purposes in the nests.
